There will not be an annual summer 2020 Family Reunion picnic event in Chicago due to covid-19 pandemic.
Have a safe year!

'Our 2013 Reunion Photo!'
Howdy and Welcome,
On Sunday Aug 11 2013 there were more than 115 attendees at our annual TFC The Family Connection Reunion Picnic!
Folks converged in Chicago, IL at Grove #10 in the Dan Ryan Woods Forest Preserve on the far Southside of Chicago.
In addition to Illinois residents, relatives from the Sawyer - Fulton - Taylor clans came from as far away as Texas, Nevada, North Carolina, and California! This year there were souvenir shirts, too!
Our annual family reunion picnic, where everyone brings potluck food, has been held at this Grove 10 location for more than 70 years...
There were games and a few prizes too - for the youngest and the oldest attendees. 'Aunt' Alma Richmond won the prize for the eldest family member in attendance! She is sitting in row 2, smack dab in the middle of the group photo.
Thanks for stopping by - and please leave a comment!
Peace,

'Chicago Real Estate - circa 1950's!'
Howdy and welcome,
This is the corner of 47th and South Parkway (aka King Drive). This buidling was owned by 'Aunt' Carrie Danner and her husband, Realtor Joshua Danner.
Carrie also owned the grocery store and beauty parlor in the building! I remember my family living in an apartment in this building, before we moved to the Chatham area.
Isn't that a great old jalopy?!
This photograph was found in a treasure trove of memoribilia. It was in an old drawer at '7600' where relatives tossed all sorts of keepsakes and junk since the 1950's! I inherited the contents of the drawer on Father's Day 2012.
Thank you, Daddy!
Thanks for stopping by - please come back soon.
Peace,
LuLu
